I’m a seasoned journalist and photographer from Lancaster, Pa., who has worked in the news and photography industries for 20 years.
Today, I own Creative Sports Photography, a portrait service for youth athletes in and around my hometown. My specialty is on-location, off-camera flash photography to provide athletes from junior high through college with dynamic, bold images.
But I photograph so much more than just athletes.
At Pidgeon’s-Eye View, I want to showcase work that ranges from travel and landscape to wedding and other portrait photography.
More importantly, I want to share the stories behind the work I do.
Sure, I might talk about technique and camera settings now and then. But there are so many resources out there to help you find the right f/stop.
What I hope to share, however, is the photography experience. We could be traveling to an interesting place or simply photographing our children in the living room.
Either way, photography is rewarding, rejuvenating, and helps us to better interact with the world around us.
It’s more than simply managing the exposure triangle.
